    Componental does not guarantee that the information provided on the website is complete, accurate or up to date. Although we endeavor to provide correct information regarding product specifications, colors, pictures, texts, prices and warehouse stock, inaccuracies, typographical errors or omissions can occur. In the case of incorrect prices or available stock we will give you the opportunity to cancel the order. Componental reserves the right to change the content and information provided in the website at any time. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Componental will not be liable for any indirect or direct damages, including lost profits, resulting from the information in this website or otherwise connected to the website. Nothing in this section limits or excludes your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer under EU or Danish law. This also applies to all websites which we link to. Componental is not responsible for the content of these external websites. We cannot be held responsible for the website being temporarily unavailable, but we make every effort to secure access to the website.

    4. Orders

    Orders can be placed on the website and are not binding until Componental has confirmed the order by issuing an order confirmation. Once you have placed your order we will send you a preliminary confirmation via email and normally process your order within 2 business days. We operate Mon-Fri except for public holidays.

    In the case of a delay, e.g. due to stock availability, we will inform you promptly. Once your order has been shipped we will send you the final confirmation and tracking information for your order via email.

    We reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the payment before the product has been shipped.

    5. Orders & Shipping

    Orders are shipped on a first come, first served basis. We aim to ship products within 3 days of receiving the goods. We do our best to meet the estimated delivery date but cannot always do this, in which case you will be kept informed on a regular basis.

    The following conditions apply for orders:

    • Availability: Items are sold and shipped on a first come, first served basis.
    • Delivery: We aim to ship products within 3 days of receiving the goods. You can see the estimated delivery date of the product within the product description on our website. This date cannot be guaranteed due to potential manufacturing delays, however we do our best to estimate this date as accurately as possible. Standard delivery timelines will apply from the moment the product is shipped.
    • Payment: Payment is taken and processed at the time your order is placed. If for any reason we cannot fill your order, a full refund will be issued.
    • Cancellations: We will accept cancellations before the order has shipped, however if this becomes a regular occurrence we reserve the right to refuse further orders.

    Orders are also subject to these General Terms and Conditions.

    6. Payment & Shipping

    You can pay online by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Note that not all options will be available in all countries. If you order from a country that is part of the European Union, prices include local VAT of the specific ordering country. For all countries outside the EU local charges such as import duties and/or sales tax may apply. These charges are at your expense and we recommend you to contact your local customs office for more information.

    Shipping costs will be added to your order and indicated prior to final payment. All our shipments are sent from our warehouse in Denmark. The estimated delivery time is 3-6 business days to EU-countries and the USA and 4-8 business days to all other countries. Delivery times vary depending on the country and customs issues and are therefore only indicative. In addition Componental reserves the right to delay any order due to payment validation.

    7. Return Policy

    When purchasing from our online store, Componental gives you a 14-day money back guarantee from the day of delivery, not covering shipping costs and additional duties and/or taxes. If you want to request a refund you need to contact us within 14 days and return your product in its original packaging. You are entitled to inspect the product as you would in a physical store - for example, unboxing and examining the device - without affecting your right to return. However, if the product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may reduce the refund to reflect the diminished value.

    Componental has a worldwide flat €39/$39 return fee per product to cover shipping costs and handling.

    We will not compensate for products that have been lost during shipping. Refunds will be made to the original payment method within two weeks after having received the returned item. Faulty products that have been purchased from our online store can be replaced or refunded within 14 days after delivery. Please contact us at returns@componental.co for more information.

    For products that become faulty after the 14-day guarantee, we offer a two-year limited warranty. Please refer to our warranty section for more information.

    8. Warranty

    Componental warrants that products sold through the website componental.co are free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship when delivered to you. The warranty is limited to 24 months from the date of delivery. The warranty extends only to you as the product's original purchaser and applies only by proof of original receipt.

    The warranty does not cover:

    • (a) damage from physical abuse such as dropping the unit or impact from hard objects;
    • (b) physically damaged connectors;
    • (c) broken knobs, sliders, or physical damage to the control mechanism;
    • (d) damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation or failure to follow instructions according to the owner's manual;
    • (e) any damages due to shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier);
    • (f) repair or attempted repair by anyone other than, or approved by, Componental;
    • (g) any unit which has been altered or on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed;
    • (h) normal wear and any periodic maintenance;
    • (i) damage due to inappropriate storage;
    • (j) deterioration due to perspiration, corrosive atmosphere or other external causes such as extremes in temperature or humidity;
    • (k) damages attributable to power line surge or related electrical abnormalities (including phantom power, wrong voltage, etc);
    • (l) damage due to connecting other than certified USB charger/equipment to the USB port;
    • (m) damage due to liquid contamination;
    • (n) RFI/EMI (interference/noise) caused by improper grounding or the improper use of either certified or uncertified equipment;
    • (o) damage resulting from any use other than that it was intended for;
    • (p) product purchased as ex-demo, refurbished stock or second hand;
    • (q) any aesthetic alterations due to normal usage or ageing.

    Spare parts delivered are considered as separate products and the warranty never exceeds 24 months due to repairs or exchange of spare parts in the main product.

    If you bought your products from a reseller, the warranty does not apply. We do not recommend to service the unit yourself as this will void the warranty.

    • Registration may be required for studio/community participation and purchases.

    • Commercial License: If you wish to charge for access or commercial use of your work, you may do so subject to our commercial licensing options and platform terms.
    • Transaction Fees for Commercial Submissions: If you choose the commercial licensing option via the Componental platform, you agree that Componental will deduct a transaction fee from each sale to cover payment processing and platform administration costs. The standard fee is currently set at 7% of the gross sale price but may be updated in the future; any changes will be communicated to you prior to taking effect.
    • Public Domain Option: Optionally, you may dedicate your work to the public domain (CC0), in which case anyone may use your work for any purpose, including commercial use, without restriction.

    By submitting content, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to license your work as described above, and you agree that your selected license will be publicly displayed with your submission.

    12. Data Protection & Privacy

    We process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Danish data protection legislation. Our full Privacy Policy describes in detail how we collect, use, store, and protect your data, including the legal bases for processing, your rights, and data retention periods.
